For me, if I do these in the normal fashion, I lose tension at the top of the movement, so I've attached a band to the dumbbell and the other to the wall. This provides accommodating resistance. Nex, watch my hips. I try to "dip" my hips while in the stretched position. This gives me an even greater stretch in the full extension position .
